Holiday Fixings for a Butterfly Thanksgiving

Peconic Bay Zonta members Betsy Kaplan (right) and Vivian Daddino (not pictured), residents of Wading River, delivered a variety of food to be used for Thanksgiving dinners by families associated with The Butterfly Effect Project (BEP), a nonprofit, community-based organization that helps girls develop self-confidence and prepares them for academic success. Founder and executive director of BEP Tijuana Fulford (center) and her Butterfly helper Azharia Allen received the food for distribution. The holiday fixings were donated by members of Peconic Bay Zonta, a local group affiliated with Zonta International, which works to empower women worldwide through service and advocacy.
