Thanksgiving Treats for Butterfly Girls

Peconic Bay Zonta members (from left) Liala Strotman, Vivian Daddino, Betsy Kaplan, Diane Loffredo and Kathy Walker wrapped home-baked cookies and brownies to donate to 40 girls enrolled in the Butterfly Effect Project (BEP) for their Thanksgiving party. BEP is a nonprofit, community-based organization that helps girls to develop self-confidence and prepares them for academic success. Peconic Bay Zonta is affiliated with Zonta International, which works to empower women and girls worldwide through service and advocacy.

The Butterfly Effect Project Executive Director Tijuana Fulford (center), along with the project's Office Assistant Vivian Hobson (left) and volunteer Nancy Perez, appreciated the baked goods donated by Peconic Bay.
