Women’s Film Festival on August 23, 2019

Peconic Bay Zonta will host LUNAFEST, the fundraising film festival by, for and about women.

Tickets:  Adults $20

               Students $10 (with student ID)

                    Free admission for students who fill out feedback form

Complimentary coffee and cake will be served, and raffle prizes will be available.

This unique film festival highlights women as leaders in society, illustrated through eight short films by women filmmakers. The films range from animation to fictional drama, and cover topics such as women’s health, body image, relationships, cultural diversity and breaking barriers.

All proceeds from LUNAFEST will benefit Peconic Bay Zonta, a nonprofit group affiliated with Zonta International, which nworks to empower women and girls through service and advocacy, and Chicken & Egg Pictures, a nonprofit organization that supports women nonfiction filmmakers whose artful and innovative storytelling catalyzes social change.

LUNAFEST – created and funded by LUNA®, The Whole Nutrition Bar – has raised more than $4 million for nonprofit organizations across the U.S. and Canada.
